Bella, You mean the dog? She is Traveler, our tri-colored, registered, female, critter-loving, Cocker Spaniel. Those are seed pods from our Hawaiian grasses which have decided to take a ride on her fur. There were many more prior to the picture. She left them on the bed.
If however you are quizzing me about what your icon is, I can only wonder and wish for a closer look sometime. Good to see you, if only fleetingly.

It is interesting to see the blog entries about our dogs. See some of the posts by Anexplorer (http://anexplorer.blogstream.com/) for another problem, romping in the snow.

I love the picture! My husband and I went out riding this morning to check out the spring wildflowers. Our dog, sunny, always follows the horses, but this time she had a run-in with a cholla cactus, and after much crying and whimpering, finally let me get it out of her. Spring brings glorious color, and critters, but here, it means the jumping cholla sticks to you if barely touched.

Sunshine, I remember camping in the Rocky Mtn National Park a half a life ago with another Cocker Spaniel. We were up there fishing and she got tangled up in the fishing pole and got a small hook imbedded in her paw. She was limping all around trying to get our attention trailing the fishing rod behind her. After a little surgery, I determined that the hook was only embedded in the fur UNDER her paw. She was lucky. After removing the hook, I proceeded to grab the OTHER rear paw and was tenderly rubbing it and whispering to Bones that it will be ok now, so lovinglyly. Sure enough when she got up, she started hopping around the campsite with the good paw up in the air.

Looks like you have been busy with family here and gone. Good stuff. Aloha.
Thank you for the sunny compliment. Be of good cheer, summer is approaching.
He looks so 'caught'.
